Rooted in seaside strolls and the thrill of hidden finds, the Rockpool Collection holds the joy of finding beauty below the surface and the cherished memories tied to each piece.
For these earrings, I fuse recycled sterling silver scraps under heat to create layered, textured forms inspired by coral sea fans. I create bespoke hooks for these earrings that allow stones to be gently added or removed, to create elegant silver earrings or bold statement earrings.
Finally, I hand-pick slices of fossil coral for the earrings, which are then threaded onto the ear hooks. The fossil coral stones can be removed and safely stored leaving a pair of silver earrings. Ancient coral has been transformed over millions of years into stone, carrying delicate patterns that feel like nature’s own artwork. Have you ever been hunting for fossils?
