Postage, delivery, and returns

Thank you for choosing Anna Bagnall Jewellery. I take pride in crafting each piece with care and want to ensure you have the best shopping experience. Here’s how I handle postage, delivery and returns.

Postage and delivery

  • Processing time
    Each piece is handcrafted to order, so please allow up to five business days for me to create and prepare it for dispatch. If there are any delays, I will notify you promptly. I do have a number of items in stock, which can be posted within two working days. If you need one of these pieces sooner, please contact me to discuss next day delivery.

  • Shipping methods and costs
    I ship via Royal Mail within the UK only. I use their 48 hour tracked service for all orders under £150 at a flat rate of £4.

  • For items over £150 I use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm: next working day delivery by 1pm from dispatch, with compensation cover up to £750 Signature required.

  • Important Note
    Due to recent changes in legislation, specifically the enforcement of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), I am currently unable to ship orders to the European Union and Northern Ireland. New rules require businesses to have an EU-based representative to handle product safety issues, which, as a small independent jeweller, is not feasible for me at this time.

I understand this may be disappointing to customers in these countries, and I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. I am actively monitoring the situation and exploring potential solutions to resume shipping to these areas in the future.

Returns and exchanges

I want you to love what you buy from me, but if you’re not completely happy with your purchase, I accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Eligibility: items must be returned within seven days of receipt, in their original condition and packaging. Earrings, custom or personalised pieces are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective

  • How to return or exchange an item: please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your jewellery at anna_bagnall@hotmail.co.uk with your order details. Once your return or exchange is approved, I will provide instructions on how to send the item back

  • Shipping costs: return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty. I recommend using a tracked service to ensure safe return   

  • Refunds: once I receive and inspect a returned item, I will process your refund to the original payment method within 7 business days
